Pinterest is a website where users can upload and manage images—known as pins, and collections of pins known as pinboards. Site visitors and users can browse the content of others in their feed.
You can save individual pins to your own boards using the “Pin It” button. Pinboards are typically organized by a central topic or theme. Users can personalize their experience with Pinterest by pinning items, creating boards, and interacting with other members. By doing so, the users “pin feed” displays unique, personalized results.
Content can also be found outside of Pinterest and similarly uploaded to a board via the “Pin It” button, which can be downloaded to the bookmark bar on a web browser.
Visualising IT has a Pinterest pinboard where I find visualisations on the web that are technology related. Whether it’s an Engineering discipline or Information Technology you will find ideas and concepts for people to help understand that visualisations appear in every area of life.
Here’s a secret, visualisations have been around a long time.
You cant limit the term to one line or thought or discipline.
